The United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology relies upon the talent of its membership and the pathology community in general to provide educational content for the eAcademy. Submissions of potential educational material for the annual meeting continues to exceed the capacity of that meeting. The eAcademy provides another forum for educators to reach the pathology community. In addition, because each submission undergoes a peer review process, acceptance and "publication" of eCourses and APECS cases carries a similar significance to a journal publication. All contributing case authors must be practicing Doctors of Medicine.
